What this is not
On our mouthpiece page we say that positional wedges and pillows do not treat the structural airway obstruction behind a sleep apnea diagnosis. That is still true, and it is still on that page. This product does not change it.
Positional support is a comfort measure. It can reduce snoring for people whose snoring is worse on their back, and head elevation makes some people more comfortable through the night. Neither of those is treatment, and neither replaces a device or a machine.
If you are looking for the thing that addresses the obstruction, that is the MouthPiece Pro, not this.
Three specific jobs, and nothing beyond them
Keeps you off your backThe wedge sits behind you so rolling flat takes effort instead of happening by default. Most people who snore worse on their back already know they do.
Raises your headA gentle incline rather than a stack of pillows that slides apart by 2am. Some people find breathing easier slightly elevated.
Leaves your jaw clearNothing pressing against the device or pushing your jaw out of position while you sleep on your side.
Worth it for some people, not for everyone
Add it if: you already know you snore worse on your back, you keep waking up flat despite meaning to sleep on your side, or you have been stacking pillows for elevation and it never stays put.
Skip it if: you sleep on your side already and stay there, or you are hoping it will do what the mouthpiece does. It won't, and we would rather you kept the money.
This product is a positional sleep aid. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, including obstructive sleep apnea, and it is not a substitute for CPAP, an oral appliance, or any treatment prescribed by your physician. If you have been diagnosed with a sleep disorder, speak to your doctor before changing how you manage it. Not suitable for anyone advised against sleeping at an incline. Keep away from infants and children under 12 months.
